Dew Tour After Party @ DC Mtn. Lab and 4Bi9
So since i am new to blogging i didn't get a chance to tell you about some of my past events from this month. The Dew Tour came to Salt Lake City for the weekend of Jan 15-17. That gave me the chance to hit up some Dew Tour after parties. Well I received a text from a friend with an invite to the DC Mt. Lab for a Dew Tour party Jan 16 after Dew Tour snowboarding. It was awesome what an experience ha ha. I went with Bill and Charlie. After we left the party Olympic hopeful Danny Davis broke his back at the party crashing a four wheeler.
The next night Jan 17 Charlie and I went to the 4Bi9 Dew Tour after party. Tom Wallish won Dew Tour that day so the party was full of happy people, beer, and loud music. Great weekend enough said.
First Entry
This is my first entry, WooHoo! Well, Friday Jan 22 I drove to Big Bear Mt. in California with my brother Charlie. The drive was only intended to take 9 hours and 45 min estimated by mapquest. But as we approached the base of the mountain we were informed by police officers that chains were required to go to Bear. So we drove 10 miles back to the closest store and bought 40 dollar chains. Then was the mission to get them on. Success we arrived to the Hostel we were staying at about 2 hours later than expected due to the crazy snowy drive up the mountain. We met two english guys also staying in our room at the hostel Alex and George. They were really cool and we hungout and rode with them saturday and sunday. Saturday was one of the sickest powder days of my life! Bear Mt. was closed friday, the day we drove up, so the powder was ready for us to shred saturday. We got so many fun fresh powder runs with one mishap when Charlie went the wrong way and had to hike out for about an hour. On Sunday Charlie competed in the Gatorade Free Flow Tour. After the contest feeling ready to get home asap we left Big Bear at with some McDonalds by our side. Making one little wrong turn set us back but we made it home to Salt Lake City. Exhausted our trip was over.
